BlackVue DR590W 2CH + Cellink NEO Battery install

This past long weekend was not only busy for us, but for our customers as well. So much so that the majority of our weekend bookings were MOBILE INSTALLS! Take this brand new 2018 Acura TLX A-Spec for instance. Steph P. didn’t want to waste any of that long weekend sunshine by waiting around at a shop for her dash cam to bbe installed,  so she requested a mobile install at Richmond Sports and Fitness on this gorgeous white Acura TLX A-Spec.

The reason she bought this beautiful new car is because she was unfortunately the victim a bad hit and run while parked on busy public street. As such, she decided to protect her new precious ride with the BlackVue DR590W 2-channel which provides both and front protection as well as a Cellink NEO dedicated battery to keep the dash cam powered virtually 24/7. 

​For the cleanest install, we did have to remove the A-pillar, weather stripping, kick panel, door sill panel, and driver side dash panel. But the result is that the visible wire in the entire car is about 1 inch leading from the front dash cam into her rain sensor located on her windshield, and another 1 inch leading from the rear dash cam leading into the headliner fabric.

We made sure to remove the a-pillar so that the dash cam wires went BEHIND the airbag. The reason we did this is so that in the case of an incident, the airbag does not rip everything out and potentially send the dash cam flying at high velocity.
