Basic Dashcam Install

A basis install would entail an install via the 12V cigarette lighter socket. This service is best suited for users who simply want a dash camera that records while driving but do not want to see any unsightly wires. 

This job entails:
  • Dash Camera Consult and Install
  • Wire Management (as much wire as possible is hidden behind the interior panels of the car)
  • Dash camera setting optimization
  • Smartphone linking (where applicable)
  • Tutorial on how to use the camera and pull footage in the event of an incident

Hardwire Install to the Car's Battery/Fuse-Box

In addition to the services offered in a Basic Install, the Hardwire Install package includes a hardwire to the car's battery/fuse-box.

The benefits of this type of install are:
  • The install will look completely factory installed with the only visible wire being 2-4 inches of wire from the dash camera going straight up into the headliner of the car
  • Parking mode enabled dash cameras will be able record hit and run incidents while parked (*Note* parking mode record times vary depending on the condition of your cars battery)

Dedicated Dashcam Battery/Capacitor Install


​This install is recommended for users who park their car in unfavourable areas for long periods of time and would like around the clock dash camera coverage.

The benefits of this type of install are:
  • The battery would provide on average of 23 hours of power to a 1-channel dash camera. With the most batteries only requiring 60-80 minutes of driving to fully charge the battery, it provides 24/7 recording capability for most users
  • Reduces the stress on your car's battery compared to that of a Hardwire to the Car's battery ultimately extending the life of your car's battery
